Vote Yes to Stop Unwanted RoboCalls
This presidential election showed how important each person’s vote is. Although political robocalls will now subside, the epidemic of all other unwanted telemarketing, robocalls and tele-criminal calls continues.
It’s now time that we should all Vote YES to get our phone companies to stop the unwanted robocalls to our home and cell phones.
This year the FCC told all phone companies they face no legal barriers to offering consumers the use of technologies that block robocalls to any phone. The FCC then encouraged the companies to offer this resource ASAP and to make it free for their customers if possible.
Why, then, have the phone companies taken no action? It appears they’re not as motivated to implement solutions to unwanted robocalls as consumers are to having solutions.
Over the last couple of years, consumer advocacy groups have continued to provide consumers ongoing information and support on the dangers of robocalls and tele-criminals and have done a great job in collecting and presenting almost one million electronic petitions from consumers pleading for action against robocalls to the phone companies.
Unfortunately, these petitions have fallen on mostly deaf ears. Often, the explanation given by phone companies is no viable solutions exist. This excuse seems to keep them on the sidelines and remove the immediate pressure to implement anything. This results in consumers continuing to pay the price with annoyance and financial and privacy dangers from ever increasing robocalls and tele-criminal activity.
TeleZapper2020 Basic is a perfect example of a solution that is now available to all phone service providers for free provided they make it available to their customers for free. The patent pending software defeats almost all robocalls by effectively jamming the robocalls computers while calling a user. This is achieved without interfering with any live calls from friends and family, etc.
Making phone companies take positive action to protect their customers against robocalls will take more than e-mails or tweets. It will take a concerted effort from all of us, working to achieve the goal of defeating robocalls once and for all.
To accomplish this, exercise your right to Vote Yes today with your phone company to stop robocalls. The best way to make sure your vote influences your phone company is simply to CALL THEM. Every call they receive from you, cost them time and money talking to you. Calls from customers motivate them into action.
10 Steps to Help End Robocalls
By following the instructions below, you will make a difference quickly. The more calls they get, the more they will realize your pain is also their pain and the faster you will see them inspired to implement real solutions.

10 Steps to Help End Robocalls
By following the instructions below, you will make a difference quickly. The more calls they get, the more they will realize your pain is also their pain and the faster you will see them inspired to implement real solutions.
- Dial 611 from any phone. This should connect you directly with your existing phone company.
- Follow the prompts to speak with someone in new sales, new services or, if sales is not an option, a customer service operator.
- Express your frustrations with receiving so many unwanted and dangerous calls along with your desire to find a solution through them or possibly with a competitive service provider.
- Request details on any services they currently offer or plan to offer that will reduce or defeat robocalls.
- Determine what, if any, charges there are for these services.
- If they don’t offer any appropriate services, find out if they plan on offering something soon. When?
- Remind them how important this issue is and that you Vote YES for them to be more proactive in finding immediate solutions.
- Don’t let them rush you off the phone without allowing you to express your opinions and concerns. Spend the time needed to hear all the details they can provide you to stop robocalls.
- Don’t let them tell you there is no viable solution, as you now know solutions exist.
- Put a reminder on your calendar to call them back at a later date to check again for updates. Let them know you will.
